Professional Background

Nadine has graduated from IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria. During the economically-oriented program her focus was on studying languages including Chinese and Arabic. Her internships she spent in China and partly in Tunisia, where she wrote on her diploma thesis about women in the Arab World. After her graduation she travelled to South America with her former partner where she lived for more than one and a half years, most of the time in Argentina. It was in Bueons Aires that she discovered
her fascination for Argentine Tango.

After having returned to Austria she worked for some time in the area of development cooperation before deciding to dedicate herself to dance
and studying Hindi. For some years she followed the bachelor program „Languages and Cultures of South Asia and Tibet“ attending lectures on Sanskrit, Yoga and Asian spirituality among others.
Around the same time she started co-organising workshops for Fabiana Pastorini, founder of the Dance for Health program, a fusion of dance and various healing methods.

Since April 2018 Nadine has been working as a dancing trainer at Lillis Ballroom, an inclusive dance studio in Vienna, where she teaches the Latin dances Bachata, Salsa and Zouk while creating spaces for playful exploration.
In the same year she became self-employed in the organization of events and it is since then that she has been cooperating with local and international facilitators in the conception of enriching event formats.
